Dominion Belongs to the Lord By Rebecca Livermore
"All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will bow down before him, for dominion belongs to the Lord and he rules over the nations." Psalm 22:27-28 (New International Version)
I love the assurance of this verse! So often we labor, and don't see the results. It can seem like nothing positive is happening, and when we look at everything bad that IS happening all over the world, it can seem hopeless. This verse is an incredible reminder that in spite of how things look, God does indeed have dominion over the earth and rules over the nations.
This scripture also causes me to pause and consider that God also has dominion over my life. He has a plan, and He is in control! I don't need to worry about "making things happen" ? I just need to walk in obedience to Him, and trust Him to bring about the blessing of that obedience. The doors will open, the blessings will come, and fruit will be borne, as long as I am faithful in my walk with Him.
Father, I thank you that dominion belongs to you, and that you rule, not only over the nations, but over my life as well. I pray that you will give us eyes to see your hand, even in the midst of turmoil, heartache, and disaster. Help us to never lose sight of your glory, power, and majesty. Amen!
