Illumination By Shari Weigerstorfer Psalm 36:9 "For with Thee is the fountain of life; In Thy light we see light." I walked into my kitchen earlier than usual this morning and was struck with wonder at the absolutely stunning picture on my kitchen wall. The rays from the morning sun had illuminated a painting hanging there. I have always admired the scene but I stood mesmerized at the clarity of detail and color that the light exposed. Depth I had never seen before was revealed and I gained a deeper appreciation for the art and the artist. Scripture can be like that. We love them, keep them close and see them often. But once in awhile something occurs that sheds new "light" on a familiar truth. Maybe we read a devotional or meditation and suddenly perceive something we never saw before. Gems of wisdom reflect revelation when viewed from alternative perspectives. When these insights happen, our hearts fill with wonder and we are refreshed as we drink from the "Fountain of Life." Shari Weigerstorfer began writing in Junior High when her family moved from Oregon to California and she wrote to her friends "back home." From Switzerland, 20 years later she again found herself again writing "back home." She now shares these stories, reflections and perspectives with others. Article Source: www.faithwriters.com
