Cheery Tomato By Stacey LaMontagne I was a little seed once. He planted me in some soft, cool dirt. I was dry and small until He watered me daily. The warm sun exchanged my impurity for fresh, clean air. I began to change. One day, I sprouted green leaves and a tall stalk grew. Leaves multiplied and I bloomed tiny flowers. Lovingly He gave me support to help me grow without wilting from the weight of my new form. Today I sprang into life and there is fruit. Finally I can give back to the one who has given me life.
