The Destitute Shall Become Rich The way of the world teaches mankind to rely on himself and the abilities he possesses. Then the things that he has, the accomplishments made, become the story he clings to and professes.
Yet, Jesus declares the exact opposite must happen for a soul to see their need for Salvation. For we must look at ourselves and see spiritual poverty so we can cry His name in our desperation.
We truly have to come to a place of repentance by looking at the sin-sick state of our souls. And we have to see Jesus as the only way, to be ransomed and truly made whole.
We have to know God through a personal relationship and know Him as the Lord of each day. And we must read His Word as our handbook for life to find peace and know the right way.
For in turning our backs on self-reliance and pride we turn ourselves toward mercy and grace. Because it's only through humility that we can see God and seek out the light of His face.
For the ones who become destitute within their own eyes can see Christ for the redemption He gives. And they shall inherit the riches of His kingdom finding grace for each day that they live.
