The Footprints Of My King Oh, what a day it was to me when Jesus saved my soul, The washing, cleansing river that came in to make me whole. I never have regretted that sweet day for all I live. A King to be my everything through the power when He forgives. But that day of my salvation was just a start for me. For He began walking through my life in ways that I could see. In heartache...He was the Comforter and in pain, He gave relief. He washed my tears with tenderness through every mile of grief. Through times of life's injustices He was mighty to defend. And when I needed wisdom's heart He gave it without end. Where exhaustion beckoned me to fall His mercy gave me rest. And when the world gave me its very worst He offered me His best. There were times I stood on mountaintops and shined in life's successes. And I saw Him hold my trophies up to prove that He still blesses. One day this life will move aside for the treasure the next one brings. But through seasons here...I've seen the footprints of my Everlasting King.
