I will hope in the Lord, for I have asked and I will receive
'And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.' John 14:13
There may be many doors closed that you are trying to open, many battles within and out of yourself. Perhaps financial burdens, illness, chaos within marriage, struggles with vices or alcohol for yourself or family/friends and you dear friend are falling under the weight of many trials at this very moment.
Take courage stand firm, you are not alone. Our Lord and Saviour Jesus the Christ is with you. He says to you personally "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." He is giving you a promise, His word, so believe and ask Him.
May a big list and ask dear sister or brother in Christ. Ask and believe that He can restore you. He can restore that broken relationship. He can fix all your problems. He can heal your broken heart and pour healing within you. He can give you that job that you are desperately looking for. He can free your children of those friends that aren't good for them. He can take away those evil desires that tear you or them apart. He can rescue your family from the snares of the devil. He can shoo away the darkness in your home. He can heal you of your infirmities.
No matter what you are gong thru at this moment, the Son of God is ABLE to set you free and turn your life around.
When I discovered this vital scripture, I started using it in prayer. At a prayer meeting there was a lady who was very troubled about her little grandson's health. His head was growing rapidly and the Surgeon was worried. They were expecting the worst, something wrong with his brain. Fortunately I had received this Word of God in my spirit and used it as a sword. I prayed out loud and asked the Lord to help this young child so that His Father may be glorified. I told the lady not to be afraid, the Living God would hear her.
She felt better after the prayer and later called her son to say "Trust in the Lord. A friend prayed for your son and we believe in a miracle." The next week they received good news, all the tests were clear. She gave God the glory.
Friend what God did for her, He can do for you. Remember He will never give you anything that is wrong for you. Therefore if you ask Him for something that is not the best for you at this time of your life, He will withhold it. Leave it all to Him to sort out. Just open your heart and ask.
The next time you feel weak or scared; if hopelessness seems to be written all over your circumstances, please remember the above scripture and write these words down "I will hope in the Lord, for I have asked and I will receive". Praise God.
"Most Holy One, our Father and Lord Jesus, we come to You with all our intentions in our heart and offer them up to You. You know all that is wearing us down and causing unrest. You know all the tears we weep, the inner pain that grabs at our heart. You alone know the fears we have about so many circumstances. You know the secret desires of our heart. You are our Saviour and so we ask for assistance in each of these needs in Your Holy Name that the Father may be glorified in You. Thank You for hearing and answering our prayers amen."
