How Fleeting Is Life How fleeting is life....how fragile at best are the things that fill up our time. Yesterday's work is so quickly forgotten in this race we call yours and mine. But the things of God...and the power of His Kingdom are always and forever in place. For the Word of the Lord is the final authority that stands firm and can't be erased. There in that Word comes the essence of life from the Giver of Life to us all. For the message and meaning keeps pointing to Christ as redemption for our sinful fall. While a planet of people cries out for world peace this King offers all that and more. For the blood of the cross paved the way of salvation so the sinner could answer the door. Many souls wander in the busyness of life caught up in the calendar haze, Never quite "getting" the truth sent from God that brings ultimate hope to our days. But life in its flurry will end in a hurry leaving some wishing for more time to spend. For the cross they neglected and the King they rejected was what mattered the most in the end.
