HELPING HAND
On a grey and depressing day, the clouds were hanging low. I walked all alone on a lonely stretch of road, flanked by woods. The heavy storm struck, Lightning and thunder hit the mother earth. The sound was deafening Like a thunderclap, Accompanied by heavy rain.
I was flat on my back Before awareness came to me. I had just slipped and fallen. O, pain knifed through My hip and thigh. No one to help me Other than my Creator. I knelt down and prayed. There and then A helping hand came And we both escaped, Singing and praising our Saviour.
