Jigsaw Puzzle Christmas
Christmas- like a huge jigsaw Fitting pieces evermore Crushing, crowding at the store- Have we got sufficient for? Money, money to withdraw Is there some unwritten law That every year we’re spending more? How does that affect the poor?
Wrapping paper on the floor Food to cook and drink to pour- Flashing lights around the door- Families engaged in war- Over who should visit more- Or who is doing every chore! So little time we're leaving for The mystery that’s at the core!
It’s peace and love we’re yearning for- The simple joy we had before- When we were innocent and pure. There is a space still missing for- That vital piece- that sense of awe That makes us whole, forgives each flaw- Immanuel- who will restore Our Peace, our Love, for evermore.
