A FLAMING FIRE
Jesus is our Life. We cannot live apart from Him. He is our Saviour and Redeemer. He gave His life for us. He bore pain and grief, so that we might live. Jesus did everything to set us free. He paid the price on the cross. Our troubles are not greater than Jesus. He can make the bitter sweet. He can transform a cup of bitter gall into a goblet of glory. Our cross will become our crown. Let us trust in Jesus. He has promised, and He will fulfill.
During our trials, we must cling to Jesus. We must trust in His love. Nothing can separate us from Him. We are united to Jesus. He always has our best interests at heart. Let us count our blessings with gratitude. We must desire only what He desires. It is His to give and His to withhold. Whatever He gives us comes from His loving heart. Jesus is our Light. He brightens up every single corner of our lives. We must constantly tell Jesus how much we love Him. Let us trust in His love. He is the joy of our hearts.
Our love for Jesus is like a flaming fire, burning with great intensity. It is a most vehement flame. Jesus is most worthy of our love. We want to spend ourselves for Him. We have a worldwide commission to work for the Kingdom of God. We must set ourselves new goals of faith. They are spiritual milestones. We will focus on Jesus, and spend ourselves for His concerns and His glory. The whole world is our parish, and we must seize every chance to conquer new areas of faith. We must identify with the needs of the whole world. We can bring the Kingdom of God to others only by humility.
Wherever we go, we reflect heaven's radiance. We are set aflame with love for Jesus. We spark off fires in others, with a burning love and zeal for God's Kingdom. We are united to Jesus Christ, who is ablaze with love. He is the flaming fire of God. Jesus is the Light of the World. He inflames the hearts of those who love Him.
Jesus is our Saviour. He is our life. He is everything to us. We see rivers of Living Water flowing from His pierced side drink this life-giving water, and we are satisfied. "Our thirst is quenched, our souls revived, and now we live in Him. "Our hearts are full of praise.
In Jesus, we find peace, joy and happiness. He has transformed the cross into a blessing. His presence gives us a peace that passes all understanding. Our heart is the throne of the King of Kings. "Be glad and rejoice, for the Lord will do great things" - (Joel 2:21). As we think about Jesus, our hearts converse with Him. When we turn our eyes upon Jesus, the fullness of His beauty is revealed. As we praise Him in song, our hearts are kindled with love for Him. When we come to know Jesus, and the glorious wonders of His love, we will love Him most of all.
A great love for Jesus is kindled in our hearts as we talk to Him. As we speak to Him, and pour out our hearts in humble adoration, we can hear His gentle voice speaking to us softly. When we surrender everything in our lives to Jesus, our love for Him grows. It becomes purer and stronger. Our love for Jesus is set aflame each time we surrender our wills to Him. The flame of love burns brightly in us, as we place our hearts upon the altar of the Lord.
Jesus is our glory and the joy of our hearts. He is our hope, and our refuge in times of trouble. We need His strength and comfort to be healed and cleansed in spirit, to enable us to love, endure, and persevere. The love of Jesus is a great and mighty power which automatically lightens every burden, making all the rough places of our lives smooth and acceptable. It helps us to bear every hardship bravely, and transforms all our bitterness into sweetness and light.
The love of Jesus is true and noble. It inspires us to great deeds by motivating us to aspire to perfection. Nothing is sweeter or stronger than Christ's love, no better thing in heaven or on earth; for love is born of God. Love flies freely in eternity's sunshine. It rests in the heart of the One from whom all good things flow. Love turns instinctively to the Giver of all good gifts. It knows no limits and feels no burden. It takes no account of wrongs and it always attempts things far beyond its own strength. In Love's eyes, nothing is impossible, for it feels fully competent to achieve all things. Love is like a living flame, a burning torch that can never be extinguished. It surges upward in full force and surmounts virtually every obstacle on earth.
