Years of hard work, Lord may I rest in you awhile for I am so weary? Tears, miles of dreams that stretch out a lifetime long, now elude me, I’m not as strong.
Trials, laughter that shines in the harshest of weather, lo, I run to your shelter my Dear and wondrous Lord.
My mind, ever so scantily clad, in the garments of years past envisions much ahead that will dry these tears, and heal the sorrow that once walked beside me.
I know, in this heart Lord, much joy lies before me, and I shall speak of the heavens and your glorious story. I shall share with the world around me, the miracle of your touch upon mortal events.
Heaven will vent the wrath of thousands of years and God’s broken children, bleeding and raw, shall lie upon war torn streets with hearts in chains, while Heaven weeps.
Those who are asleep, and alive in Christ, shall be awakened, raised upon high with the Son of Man and of God… To behold as His witnesses, the judgment of mortal earth. Blessèd is he would be who believes… the suffering, the death, and rebirth.
