Wind Of Faith
(C) Corey Brasfield
I can feel the wind
Flowing all around me
Encompassing me in its formless way.
It is all around me.
It is here when we can't see
Or touch or feel or hear.
It longs for us to notice, to care.
The wind needs to be felt.
Late at night I sit alone
Outdoors in the vast emptiness.
It is at this time that I can feel
God is blowing His kiss.
He is reaching out everyday to us
Through flowers, a birds song.
But we bypass these things
We are in pursuit of the unattainable
Faith speaks differently for each man.
For some, Faith is an unspoken fear of the unknown.
For others, Faith is unattainable in its simplicity.
For me, Faith is the only proof that this is not a dream, and one day I will go home.
“You gave me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in has not ceased to kiss my feet.” - (Luke 7:45)
