When You Can't Trust His Hand, Trust His Heart By Shari Weigerstorfer There are seasons when we go through times that seem unbearable. When you ask, "Where are you, Lord? Don't you care?" And your questions are met with silence - from the One you trust, the One you depend on, the One you rely on; your only hope. "Why Lord? Why?" And even while you ask, you know: He doesn't usually answer questions like these. Sometimes He doesn't answer at all. But through the pain, you are aware of one steady, reassuring assurance: HE IS THERE. Why He allows certain things, we may never know. But what we do know is this: He doesn't leave us. He abides. He cares more than we know. He loves us more than we can fathom. More than He did His own life. And for whatever reason; He's allowing the pain, the confusion, the questions and the tears. He won't leave us, we know that. He'll go through it with us and He'll get us through. And when it's over, we still may never know why. But what we will know is this: Whatever we ever go through, we will never go through it alone. And maybe, that's the answer anyway. Psalms 23:4 "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me..." When you can't trust His hand, trust His heart. Shari Weigerstorfer began writing in Junior High when her family moved from Oregon to California and she wrote to her friends "back home." From Switzerland, 20 years later she again found herself again writing "back home." She now shares these stories, reflections and perspectives with others. Article Source: www.faithwriters.com
