Please pray for a friend of ours, Mary.
She has been suffering from chronic Lung Disease for some time, and is very breathless. She is often in hospital with chest infections. A few years ago she nearly died and it was a miracle that she pulled through. She doesn't have a happy marriage, as her husband is impatient and selfish, and often "shows off" in front of friends by criticising her meals. (She loves cooking. It is her hobby.)
Mary is Italian, and she doesn't have Jesus in her life.
I have met people who undoubtedly have Jesus in their lives, and show all the signs that they walk with Him. Faithful people who find Jesus tend to keep their eyes on Him.
Mary has just lately becoming interested in her Faith again and seems to be seeking. Her mother always said she put her faith in Jesus above all!
I ask for prayers for Mary for her healing and for her husband to become patient and more unselfish. I pray that Mary may find Jesus and respond to His call. Please pray for her.

We are praying for Mary to accept Jesus. That will solve all her problems in life. She will find healing in His loving arms.

Lord Jesus - You are the Great Physician, You always were the Great Physician and You always will be the Great Physician in our lives. I lift up Mary in prayer to you for her healing. Put Your healing hand on her and take away her pain and suffering. I pray she will see Your love and pray that she will see the need to have You in her heart and life as her personal Savior and Lord. I pray she will learn to put her complete faith and trust in You. Lord, give her husband a patient and caring heart too. We know that whatever we ask in Your Name, You will do it according to Your will for our lives. I pray and ask it in the Holy Name of Jesus - Amen

Thank you for your prayers. The answer, in this case, was for God to take Mary away from the pain and suffering. She died last night.
I am sure she found Jesus before she died, as I know she was getting interested again in the faith she knew as a child. I am sure that, as she was knocking on the door, it would be answered as God's word tells us.
I pray now that a bitter rift between Mary's widower, Dave and Mary's sister, Gloria will be healed. She is single and Mary was her only surviving sister.
The interesting thing is that gloria went on an Alpha Course at her church, but said that forgiveness was a sticking point for her, as she could never forgive her brother-in-law. He was never ALL bad, though. He was always a faithful and hardworking man, but for some reason, on a "short fuse" and tended to criticise her cooking. I don't know why.
I spoke to him on the phone when she was still alive but in hospital and struggling- and he was crying on the phone- so he did care.
I just pray that rifts are healed and that some good will come out of a sad situation.

I just pray that rifts are healed and that some good will come out of a sad situation. I am so very sorry that your friend Mary is no longer here with us. In your note you said, 'the faith she knew as a child'. If she had truly given her heart to Jesus as a child, then she is today safe in His arms free of all pain, suffering and the trials of this world. I hope she could focus on Him as she was leaving this life. In our lives we all will stumble and fail because we are human and all have a sin nature. But if we belong to Him, we know all our sin has been forgiven and forgotten forever, and He will never leave us. When I prayed here a couple of days ago, I never dreamed God would remove her pain and suffering in the way that He did. However, He knows the number of days in our lives and His ways are always perfect. Sometimes we don't understand, but must depend on Him with our faith and trust in all things. God can heal relationshipe too. I am praying for that to happen as well. God bless. Don

We thank God for ending Mary's pain and suffering in the way that He knows best. We can love and trust God in everything. Death is not an end, but a new beginning. Mary had people praying for her before she died. That is a great blessing. God called Mary home in the midst of prayers for her. What a wonderful way to be called home!
