I understand your particular dilemma. Some people are certainly very difficult to live with, and yet we are commanded to love the unlovable. If your husband's friend wants to come and stay with you both, it is going to be very difficult for you to face it. Even today, in this day and age, there are still old-fashioned, chauvinistic men, who think that they can control everyone and everything. Such men usually make it a point to criticize their wives in front of friends. By doing this, they are revealing their own deep sense of insecurity. We can only pray for such people, and ask God to give us the strength and wisdom to cope with such people. Jesus can change people and situations. It is always better to trust Him to make a way where there is no way.

The "difficult"friend is staying with us now until Monday. I pray that I shall be able to show him some of Jesus' love.
