The Snowflake
Most people know that each snowflake has its own unique design, but did you know that there is more to a snowflake than meets the eye. A scientist was conducting a study on snowflakes and decided to do some tests. The scientist took two snowflakes, placed them in two separate test tubes and melted them until they both became nothing but a drop of water in the bottom of the tests tubes. What happened next was amazing. The scientist then froze the snowflakes again, and both of the snowflakes came back to their original design. They were exactly as they were before they were melted. Every piece of the snowflake came back together. Not one piece of the snowflake was missing. How awesome!
If God could put so much detail into a snowflake, and enable the snowflake to be restored back to its original state after it had been reduced to nothing but a drop of water, how much more will God restore us back to our original state?
Does He not care more for mankind, than a snowflake? Yes He does, we are worth more to God and more valuable to God than anything else in His creation.
When I was born, I was like a pure, fresh snowflake. I was unique, I was created with my own design, and before I was born God had a purpose and plan for my life. As time went on, I grew into a young woman, and certain events that happened in my life, destroyed me till I was nothing like my original design. I was reduced to a puddle on the floor. Many things in my life have destroyed that original design of who I am, and who God created and destined me to be.
When I heard about this amazing scientific discovery, I thought to myself, If God would return a snowflake back to its original state after it had been melted and destroyed, how much more would God do that for me?
I wish the process of the restoration were in the same time frame as the quick freeze the snowflake undertook. Unfortunately, it is taking years to restore, and bring the pieces of my shattered heart and soul back together.
God has had to also bring me back to my original state. Healing the wounds, restoring my soul, renewing my mind, and reviving me again, body, soul, and spirit. I will come together again like the snowflakes did. I will be brought back to my original state by the power of His Spirit and with the touch of His Love and Grace upon my life.
One day I will be fully and totally restored when I go home to be with JESUS
One day I will see HIM, and I will be like HIM, for I shall see Him as HE is.
But while I wait, slowly but surely, the melted parts of my heart are coming back together. I am being transformed into the image of Christ, day by day. He is also bringing the essence of who I really am, back together too. I am an original. I am unique. I am created with my own design. There is not one person in the world like me, and even though Satan has tried to destroy me and I have been melted in the intense heat because of the fiery trials I have faced in my life, God is at work restoring me.
No one can take away the DNA, and blue print of whom I really am.
I am one of a kind and God loves me. What He started in me He will complete. He will return me back to my original state. Just like He did for the snowflake.
