ON THE SHELF TO PRAY
My tender caresses are put aside.
Only for a moment as you learn to abide.
It's wishes and wants, yearnings and desires.
Feelings from the heart that are greatly inspired.
To hold it all back when I pour on your flame.
Those passions and yearnings will never be the same.
I will keep you from falling as you're held in restraint
I will strengthen your stand from becoming too faint.
The purpose to hold back is for only a season
It's to release deeper wells, that's the reason.
My passion within you shall never die
It's My anointing, My power, My glorious cry.
Pray what you feel as I pour on your soul
Release it for others to make them whole.
What you, yourself are able to give
Instead become weak to let others live.
As you release your gifts into prayer instead
These your children will learn to bake bread.
