The Gift Of Life I know a man named Jesus who died, upon a cross, For the sins of the worldly, and those undone, and lost. He took our transgressions and nailed them to a tree. Yes, He did it for you, and He did it for me. He did it for me when His blood flowed like rain. He withstood the torture, the mocking, and pain. He took all my sins and set my soul free. Though I wasn't worthy, He did it for me. With outstretched arms and forgiveness in His heart, He never thought twice as they tore Him apart. His love was much deeper than human eyes could conceive, The day He died on the cross for you and for me. Now, we owe so much to Our Savior and friend, Because His love is a love without condition or end. We could never repay Him for His blood sacrifice, The day He died on that cross and gave up His life. There is power in the blood of The Great I Am, With the promise of redemption from His Little Lamb. And the covenant was fulfilled when He hung on Calvary, The gift of everlasting life that He gave to you and me.
