Bible Story Poem
Noah
Noah was a just, and perfect man, Who followed each step of the Master's plan. But, God saw how wicked the earth had become And He wanted to spare Noah, his wife, and his sons. So, God said, "Noah, build thee an ark And I will show you where to make your mark. Build it thirty cubits long, pitch it inside out, Make it big and strong." Thus, God gave Noah the measurements, all, And told him to build it three stories tall. "Then, bring in the animals, and the fowl that fly; Two, by two, so they will multiply." And, the Lord said, "Noah, I will cause a flood, Which will destroy all manner of flesh and blood. I will spare the fowl, and the animals, too, So they may replenish the earth when the flood Is through." Now, Noah worked for days on end, To do as God commanded him. And, when the ark was finished, Noah's family, Safe and sound; Then God sent His torrential rains, that covered every inch of ground. It rained for forty days, and nights; According to God's plan Then after forty days, and the rain had ceased, There stood not one wicked man. Many Blessings:
