MY SON
"My Son" The words sounded unique, I repeated them several times, Sounding them a thousand times, until I became familiar with their rhythm and cadence.
I had two daughters, One was eleven and the other ten. I was anxious to know whether this baby was a boy or a girl.
At that time, there was no ultra-sound scan in our country. I placed my heart's desire in God's hands, as I eagerly waited for the day to come.
The nurse came out of the delivery room, holding a very tiny, sweet, little baby boy, wrapped in a blue sheet. She showed me the baby for a minute, and away she goes to the nursery. I could hear him crying, maybe to see his mother.
In my heart, I heard him calling me "Mummy". I thanked God for answering my prayers. God is good to those who seek him.
