Shouted From The Top Of Every Mountain
There is a name far above every name
...the name of Jesus, God's only Son.
And He knows the name of every soul alive
before their life here has even begun.
Let that precious name...that glorious name
be spoken to the whole human race.
So each person alive has the chance to repent
and grab hold of the gift of His grace.
Let that name be shouted from the top of every mountain
and spoken in every village afar.
May the mercy of God become the theme of the planet
till His glory shines back to the stars.
May the cross of Jesus Christ and His resurrection
become the story humanity lives for.
May this generation find eternal life and Hope
through the Savior who saves and restores.
May every language and every dialect known to mankind
hear the Gospel in their own translation.
May redemption through Christ be preached everywhere
bringing healing to every nation.
May vain, idle chatter give way to what matters
till Salvation is the topic of choice.
And may the sacrifice of Jesus and His atoning blood
be the song that rolls off of each voice.
All humanity cries out for life-changing Truth
and the Spirit responds like a flame.
Let the Son of God be lifted up, praised and exalted
for there is life in that precious name.
