STRUGGLES
My wandering mind found peace and solace in the countryside, adorned with masses of flowers, red, yellow and white, all God's creation.
I forgot all about my sorrows and worries. When I looked at the beauty of the flowers, I also found beauty in life. The love in us must flow like a river, that flows through different parts of a land.
I thought about my shattered life. Like a potter who made a beautiful vase out of the broken pieces of the vessel, I decided I could create a new reality out of the shattered pieces of my life.
I sat there and simply gazed at the star-studded sky. The deadly disease has turned my life upside down, spending the rest of my life in a wheel chair.
The beauty that we fashion cannot be dimmed by disease. The stroke had left my right side totally paralysed.
I couldn't even wiggle my right hand, my right leg too was a dead weight, but I decided that I must pull on, till my last breath, I must live happily.
All sorrows and pains will vanish when I reach my final abode, where my Saviour waits for me, to embrace me with both hands, to sing together the victorious song, where there is no sorrow and pain.
