A MOTHER'S LOVE
Little darling, I live for you, I cradled you in my arms, I kissed you and sang a lullaby, My golden child, I breast-fed you and rocked you to sleep.
I found joy in your sweet face. You grew up and studied well, and left my side to fly to a far-away land. Yet, my darling, I am always with you, and you are always with me. In your joy and sorrow, I am always with you. In your thoughts, I am there, Skies and seas separate us, but my son, your face is always in front of me.
I will rejoice in your dear little face, A mother's love comes across the sea to embrace you. Mother's love, inseparable love, O! blessed are those children who taste this unquenching love. To you, my son, with love from your ever-loving mother.
