MARTHA
Martha the fragile little woman came to my life on a frosty January morning. From the day I met her I was under her spell. A special way she had to make all hardships seem like little more than adventure.
She was a house-maid in our small village, She worked from dawn to dusk cleaning the houses and mopping the floors. Everything she did with a beautiful smile on her face, Bright as a button and about as tiny, she was filled with enthusiasm and energy. Her calm and peaceful manner attracted many friends to her, always ready to help her in all her needs.
Not long ago, I came to one of those bleak periods, Everything went stale and flat, energy waned and enthusiasm died. I ran to Martha for help, She lifted me up from my depressed moods. She inspired in me a new life and advised me that life is precious. Martha impressed upon me that our deeds on earth weave a timeless pattern. The time we waste will never come back. It is the love of life that puts a sparkle in our eyes and smooths the wrinkles from our souls.
