Once upon a time there existed a pencil that desired to be perfect all to no avail.
After a considerable thought , it embarked on finding out what ought to be done to achieve its aims.
Thoughtfully, it came to the following conclusion:
1) To be a good pencil, one needed to be held in someone's hands
2)Effectiveness comes if bent to some angle by the user,
3)Thirdly, its not the outward cover that matters but the inner substance,
4)Fourthly , that with repeated us, it gets dull thus requering sharpening to revive its effectiveness,
5)That unless sharpenned ,no user can maxmize any benefits
6)That the sharpenning requires outer flesh to give way and this entails hurting the pencil when removing the unwanted parts.
7) that the process is gradual
8)Most importantly, the pencil was so excited to learn that every error and imperfections can be erased by the user.
9) Also that after repeated use, the work gets bolder and better.
The elated pencil marvelled at this thought and said,Oh , how much am i rather like a believer who ought to be held in the hands of the lord , bent to knee angle, emphasising on inner perfection of the spirit rather than flesh.
And that one ought to be revived every oftenly to be relevant for God;s use.
That God will sharpen us if we MUST be a tool in his hands and that involves pain and denying the cravings of the flesh.
In all this , patience is a factor for transformation to be realized..
Oh shouted the pencil, everyone must hear this, Because i have learned that all errors and imperfections of mine can be erased rather like SIN by the blood of JESUS.
Lastly ,it remarked, Everyone is perfected an application of God's grace, which we must repeatedly believe in.
And to you all my challenge is this, what a great attitude this pencil had.Why not desire to be like this pencil.
