I come to You alone to be Satisfied

Lord God King of the Universe, my Saviour and Father
I come to You today and ask You to help me in all areas of my life
You alone know the battles within and without
You alone know where the enemy tries to steal my joy
You alone know how he tries to make me trip
You alone know where he entraps me
You alone know the sorrows of my life
You alone know the hardships I face daily
You alone know the desires of my heart
You alone know the weakness of mind, body, soul and spirit
You alone know all that I need

You alone know that without You, I am nothing
You alone know that without Your direction, I will be lost
You alone know that without Your love, I will be empty
You alone know that without Your providence, I will be poor
You alone know that without Your comfort, I will be weary
You alone know that without Your strength, I will be tired
You alone know that without Your discipline, I will be untamed
You alone know that without Your guidance, I will be a wanderer
You alone know that I honour You as the only One True God
You alone know that I love You above all else in the world

So help me dear Father, Lord and Saviour
Start the change I need today
Pour Your Holy Spirit within and over me
Hold me in Your tender arms and never let go
Shield me from the darts of the enemy
Protect me from the wicked and all those who are evil
Cleanse me from my sin and wash me clean
Let me feel Your amazing love today
Let me feel the Hand of the living God in a new way
Let me hear Your Voice and be in Your constant Presence
For truly, You alone can satisfy me
So I come to You to be satisfied
