MY ROCK
This is the rock,my cleft in whom I hide, Though I am weary, because it has been long, On the road marked with trials, And passage I do not like, In the land yonder, I see my rock.
When the winds blow against me, When the Sun burns down, And the Ocean rises, Lord, You are my rock..
On this rock, I am planted, My very source and foundation. Though my spirit grows faint, I will behold His face.
Your Joy is with me always Borne on Your wings, You nourished me on your Word. That I may be astute. Oh, Ancient Word, in you I exult.
