FROZEN
Frozen in mid flight Locked in a petit point portrait The unwise waddle duck Forgot to flee the sudden freeze And her webbed feet stuck fast in thin ice And rendered her helpless She would never survive harsh winters Till spring... Sad and sealed fate unless Her desperate cries reach the ears of some Kindly benefactor Who is moved to her rescue... So if you know you must fly By some eventuality, Do not be such a fool But flap free and rise up Over treetops for journeys That arduous may be... But in flight, set you free...
