Here are my answers to an interesting questionnaire on the topic of "WOMEN IN MINISTRY."
1) In what ways have you contributed to the ministry and mission of Christ?
I have contributed to the ministry and mission of Christ in every single way open to me, within my life's circumstances. I offer up all my time, health and resources for His service. To God be all the glory. Amen.
2) What issues (if any) have you had to face as a women working in church ministry? Attitudes, discrimination, etc.
By God's grace, I have not had to face any issues as a woman working in church ministry. I have been treated with respect by the vast majority of all my friends and associates.
3) Do you think the attitudes from Christendom thinking have hindered the role of women in contemporary ministry?
I do not think that the attitudes from Christendom thinking, whatever they may be, have hindered the role of women in contemporary ministry. Each woman is solely accountable and responsible to God for her life and ministry. She must get her guidance and strength from God alone.
4) What did you do to overcome any issues (as in the 2nd question)?
When certain people who worked with me chose to disagree with me for personal reasons of their own, I decided to take the path of least confrontation and avoided all further contact with such people until their attitudes changed for the better if at all. I have learnt that we are not responsible for the attitudes of other people. We can only guard and protect our own.
5) How do you think the place for women in ministry can be enhanced?
I think that the place for women in ministry can be enhanced if each woman who is called to serve God strives to be a kind and understanding Christian for her generation. The heart of a good woman is the perfect soil in which to cultivate good fruits with which to bless the world with Christ's love.
