THE ULTIMATE TEST
In the wake of difficulties Of every kind, The ultimate test Is in one's own mind. Christian, Press on to conquer, Persist in your quest, And soon you will find That your trials are blest. When problems abound, Never give up, For it is just then That the tide will turn. Your trials will recede And triumph will precede, So keep holding on Until the trials are gone.
ADVERSITY
Adversity Is God's divine Hand Guiding in every circumstance, Moulding and making God's beloved child Into the image Of His mind.
Adversity Serves only as a means Of giving us many wonderful things, Priceless spiritual blessings, To bring us joy In the midst of sorrow.
Adversity, Though a dreaded word, Often deeply feared, Is our blessed guiding star Into the glorious haven Of God's paradise.
SAILING
Let us sail to reach God's heaven, Paddle, row across the seas, Never looking at the winds direction, But always, only at Jesus. Let the wind blow ever so strongly, Let the boat toss, tilt or turn over, Never fear or even quaver, For we wear our life-belts in stormy weather, Our duty is to praise our Saviour, No earthly fear shall ever prevail. Let us sail to reach God's heaven, Paddle, row across the seas, Never, ever fearing the winds, But looking only at Jesus.
